The Henry Ward Beecher medal stands for the person that has good friendship and has done good all year. August won it because he was an outstanding person and an encouraging friend and his friends are good friends to August. Jack should have been the person that got awarded the medal because he was looking out for August and he was encouraging to him and that's who I think that should have earned that medal. Who I would give that medal is to my mom because she is nice and caring to me. I think August is a good friend but not like Jack because Jack was looking out for his hearing aids.

The Henry Ward Beecher medal is for students that have been the most outstanding that school year, and that means like when a kid or student does the best that they can do to their ability. August got that medal because he went the whole school year without complaining and he never gave up at anything. One real life person that I think a person a deserves the medal is Mark Hildebrand because he has always been there to stand me back up and to not get pushed around as much. But one more person is Nikki Vito because she has always kept me from doing wrong, Those two people are some of the best kinds of people.

Henry Ward Beecher medal stands for honor students who have been notable or exemplary in certain areas throughout the school year (page 303). August won it because he August was quiet strength has carried up the most hearts by the attraction of his own (page 304). I think the real person who deserves this is August thought that Charlotte would get this medal because organized she the coat drive this year, so I kind of zoned out a bit again so August thought it was going to be Charlotte(page 303).I will give the medal to Tony Vito that's my dad's name.

The Henry Ward Beecher medal stands for courage, kindness, friendship, character and the medal is about: recognizing greatness. In the book it says that who has "strength that carries up the most heart" and then Mr. Tushman called August up to get the medal and everyone it the gym started clapping and cheering August on and August saw Jack leading the chant. Then outside all of August's friends came over to take a picture and all of the parents and August fiends walked to August house to have cake and ice cream and August saw his mom and said "thank you for making me go to school".

The Henry Ward Beecher medal stands for recognizing greatness. August got the award for his strength that carries up most hearts by attraction on his own. He thought what it would be like to be that person. Whether it's somebody in a wheelchair or somebody who can't talk. He only knows he is that person to everybody else. The real life person who deserves that award isn't just one person it's everybody. We do kind things with out even knowing it. For example if you take the trash out for your mom you did something great/helpful for her. Or you take something to the homeless shelter to donate.

The Henry Ward Beecher Award stood for the nicest kid, the kid with most courage. When August first went to school, he didn't like it because he thought he was going to be picked on. But he made a friend. He was nice to everyone no matter what (even if he got picked on). It stands for the best kid in the school. I think the person that deserves the Henry Ward Beecher award at Quincy is Dylan Williams because when someone's down he will go try to make them laugh, he tries to be kind to everyone no matter what. He would try to make a kid that he doesn't even.

The Henry Ward Beecher medal stands to honor students who have been notable or exemplary in certain areas throughout the school year. This award is the highest award you can get. There is only one given in the school. Auggie won the Henry award because he was kind, he had a strong friendship, and strength of one's courage. In real life I think who deserves this reward is Megan Eliot because shes has a strong friendship, she's kind, and she is courageous.

What did the Henry Ward Beecher medal stand for? Why did August win it? What real life person do you think deserves it? First let's start with what did the Henry Ward Beecher medal stand for? Well the "Henry Ward Beecher medal goes to the student whose quiet strength has carried up the most hearts". It also goes to a person who is very dedicated to what they do. In the book Wonder at the end August wins the Henry Ward Beecher medal for his courage, kindness, friendship, and character. Also a real life person that I think should get that award is the scientist and the people who work for NASA , that's all three in one.
